It’s About Time….

It seems that everything is about time anymore. “I don’t have time.” has become the mantra for most people – myself included.

Today, however, I was thinking about time – and how badly I misuse it. I get up early in the morning; the hazard/blessing of having three dogs that depend on you for their “ticket outta here”. I almost always find time for my Jumble, my crossword, my ::shudder:: sudoku. Time for the last two kids I’m homeschooling – hard to find. I have to work even harder to find time for my Bible and my study time. That is just so skewed!! I am living my life in an upside down pyramid – working backwards…. and getting nowhere doing it.

So, today I am praying (again) that the LORD help me put things in their proper order. Him first, then family, then friends, then “down” time. I know that this is the key to my life being what it should be – and the key to a contentment coming over me that I should be thriving in, not thirsting for.
