Belated At Best

Friday was Crysta’s 14th birthday. It was also her first speech at Toastmasters - her icebreaker. Since we were in Benson, we decided to hang out, have lunch and then browse a bit. We ate at Joe’s Cafe (could that be Joe in the window slinging the hash?). We then shopped for vinyl - and found ten albums to add to our collection. After that buy, we headed for a purse shop called “How Cute Is That”. The funny thing is, there are so many great purses there, you catch yourself saying just that!! Crysta found a “to die 4″ purse made of seat belts that she had to have. Then we hit Grampy’s Curious Goods where we found many curious goods, as evidenced by the “hat” Crysta is sporting!
We had a great time all around. Crysta’s speech was fantastic! Everyone laughed in the right places (something Crysta was afraid would NOT happen) AND her critiques were all wonderful. She had her BFF over to spend the night and they had their usual good time. Honestly, Abbey and Crysta can make anything fun if they are doing it together.
