I am sure most of you have heard of Todd Bentley. If not, he is a former satanist who now claims to be a Christian. He is leading a “revival” in Lakeland, Fl. One of the many powers Todd claims to have total command of is resurrecting the dead. In the video below he speaks of verifying the stories of these claims of resurrection. I know the video is long, but I really hope you will watch it. If you cannot watch all of it, start in 5:30 into it. Prior to that he is speaking about how he verifies the stories. (HT)

ELEVEN YEAR OLD LEADS CLASS TO PRAY AND TEACHER IS RAISED FROM THE DEAD
Let me tell you an awesome story of how God Has supernaturally raised my daughter’s teacher from the DEAD! Not by me, but my 11 year old daughter who led the prayers and got all the kids to pray for her to be brought back to life after she suffered a massive hart attack while teaching in my daughters class. We will see her tomorrow as a family, at her home as she has asked to say thank you to Jessica for her faith and prayers. She said that if she had not got the children in her class to pray she would not be here today!
The paramedics said that ‘you should not be here; we stopped working on you 10 minutes ago because you were gone”! This is miracle I can verify because we were called to the school to collect our children as all classes had to be cancelled. The teacher was not saved but this lady sure knows now that God is real! I just want to say to you Todd, thank you for being the mouth piece of GOD for this revival. We want to see greater things than this or even the return of Jesus in power right now! We live in a small town in Leicestershire, England just about 60 miles from Dudley where the fire is falling. We have seen even here in England the TV news publish the revival not as a story but as FACT! The Revival is breaking out all over the country with it this message, “Come and Get SOME!” As the Children at the school, so we to declare that ‘the lie of the Devil that we have no hope of life is not God’s will!’

I happen to know for a fact that Todd Bentley is a violent child molester who used a baseball bat on a little boy’s face to keep him from coming forward with the vile things Bentley did to him. The one case that’s been made public is only one of countless children he’s sexually assaulted, but many parents were afraid to come forward because of physical intimidation by Bentley. Now he tells the parents of terminally ill children to leave them alone with him so he can “do his work” in private. Is there any way we can contact the Florida authorities to at least keep this demon on a short leash?
I have read accounts of this on the internet. The conviction was when he was a juvenile in his hometown in Canada. Canadian law prohibits the release of juvenile records to the public [record]. IIf you or your family were touched by or affected by his heinous crime, then know that your family has been in my prayers since I first heard this information. I would not be surprised if Florida authorities have not already been notified of his past record. However, they have no power to do anything more than keep an eye on him. Patterns show that child molesters are not rehabilitated. BUT GOD! can.
That said, I feel I need to say one more thing. IF [note, it is a BIG if!!] Todd Bentley has truly been born again, then his crimes have been forgiven by God. That doesn’t make them less heineous, or horrible. As a believer, however, I cannot consider these horrible acts when weighing the fruit of Todd Bentley as a believer in Christ. I can however weigh his actions [as fruit inspector, NOT judge] and clearly come to the conclusion that this man is not doing the work of God.
I know his ministry is not from God. There is proof over and over that much of what happens in his “revival” in Lakeland is the same as manifestations of the occult. He is even violent at times while healing people. Google his name, or the name of his ministry, and you will receive hits so numerous you could spend all day reading.
Thanks for your comment. I know it is somewhat unpalatable to most, but we need to be praying not only for the people who have fallen under his bad teaching but also for the man himself.

I was just doing a little digging, and needed to find when Bentley was coming to the UK. I knew it was September but could not think of the dates, so I looked on Fresh Fire’s website and England has been removed from Todd’s plans!
A quick search on the internet came up with http://www.revivalfires.org.uk/ the website for Dudley ‘Outpouring’ Church. It says:
“We have just learned that it hasn’t been possible to arrange Todd Bentley’s planned visit to the NEC on September 20th – 23rd as the venue became unavailable.”
I guess God has decided that we don’t need revival after all. Strange that Todd can’t come but they say:
“Revival Fires will be holding a special event on the dates of the original visit, September 20th – 23rd, for all those who will be in the area. Trevor Baker, Ken Gott and others who are carrying the anointing will be ministering powerfully and we know this will be a powerful time of God’s manifest presence in the heart of the nation, with far reaching impact for all who attend.”
Keep up the pressure my friend.
