About Me

chalked portrait

I find my contentment in the Lord, and I praise Him for that. My salvation comes by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. I did not choose God, but by His graciousness He drew me to Him. I cannot earn, nor choose, favor from the Lord. Man’s purpose is for God’s glory. This purpose is our only value. God’s word is clear that man is nothing outside His Son, Jesus Christ.  Without Christ, I have no peace.

My loving husband, Barry, is my confidant, and completer. I strive to be the help meet, and completer, he should have in me. My desire is to be Barry’s Proverbs 31 woman, as well as his “Rib”.  We share our lives with six children, three grandchildren, three dogs, and one cat. It doesn’t get any better than this. God is Good – All the Time!

I am a member of Omaha Bible Church, in Omaha, Nebraska. Our pastor, Pat Abendroth, teaches in an expository manner and I am thankful that God has led me to a church that has helped me to grow in His word.

My faith is NOT works based, but I love that God has service planned in His will for me – and that His plan is for me to serve to His glory.  I love serving the Lord through ministry to His body in our local church. (Local being subjective here – we are about 40 miles from our church and pass three mega-churches to get there)

God’s blessings are abundant – and they are more than I can ever deserve.

In His Grace, by His Grace,

Robin

We agreee on the role of the Lord in our lives and I hope He will bless you richly for your work here.

I was looking for the lyrics of this song. I mentor for a online course called ‘Setting the Captives Free” God sometimes puts songs on my heart to share with the men I mentor. This was a song that seems to say what I have been thinking about tonight. Thanks for the lyrics and picture. Steve
